Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated elderly caregivers to provide support in various care settings. The
level of care is unskilled nursing meaning you can be a CNA but not required. The location is
McLean County. This job gives the client and caregiver a one-on-one relationship of care. The
ideal candidate will have experience in home community care, working with clients with autism,
dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, palliative care, end-of- life, cancer care among others. The
individual must possess a compassionate approach to assisting others.

Responsibilities:
– Assist individuals with daily activities and personal care needs
– Provide direct support to clients with homemaker care, personal care and companion care
(Examples of these could be meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, baths,
laundry, light housekeeping and more)
– Help transfer clients as needed with proper techniques
– Drive clients to appointments or outings if need be
– Offer companionship and emotional support to clients in hospice care, palliative care, end- of-
life, disabilities, cancer care, arthritis, live-in-care and more.
Skills:
– Experience in home care, hospice care, palliative care, or senior care settings
– Proficiency in providing direct support to individuals with diverse needs
– Capability to transfer clients safely
– Compassionate approach towards working with individuals with autism, dementia, Alzheimer’s
– Valid driver’s license (clean driving record) or a reliable for of transportation to work.
